In connection with the world epidemiological situation, the government has passed a resolution on foreign nationals employed in the CR. The deadline for leaving the country has been automatically extended until 16th September 2020 for foreigners (third country nationals) whose visa expired after 12th March 2020 and who have
- short-term visa for the purpose of employment,
- short-term visa for the purpose of seasonal employment,
- visa for a stay over 90 days for the purpose of seasonal employment, or
- special work visa,
if their employment contract has been extended by their employer or if they have concluded a new employment contract. The validity of their work permit has been extended as well.
